There is following document:

escribing several properties.
However there is no explicit claim about status of them: are they spec requirements or just
something used by JDK.
May be subtitles "Sun implementation-specific properties" implies that everything above is spec requirements. However "guide" as part of URL looks confusing.
Moreover, there is no links from API specification to this or similar document (at least I found no of them). And there is no explicit and exact description which methods are affected in which manner.
All this should be clarified.
