FULL PRODUCT VERSION :
JDK 6
ADDITIONAL OS VERSION INFORMATION :
Windows 2000 and Windows 2003
EXTRA RELEVANT SYSTEM CONFIGURATION :
For server 1: It is running IIS6.0.
For server 2: the applet appopupmenu.jar and html file is > location here.
When a user (at his pc) request the html page location at > server2 (with the appopupmenu.jar applet in the HTML file), it will > trigger the IIS and the IIS engine will get the html file and > appopupmenu.jar from server2. But in this case when the client using > SUN java, the NTLM authentication will popup.
A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Problem :
1. If the user enter a valid username, password and domain, at the > NTLM authentication, it will reject and the NTLM authentication will > keep prompting. Need to end the IE task in order to stop the NTLM > authentication.
2. Domain is required because the user will be logging into their PC.
3. By default it is keberos authentication. Without SUN Java being > installed, if we use MSJava, we are able to pass the NTLM > authentication. But using SUN java enable, the NTLM authentication > keep prompting out.
4. The diagram as attached give you our environment settings.
