Using cygwin's "find" command with a version greater thatn 4.3.0 causes the build to fail on Windows. I don't have the exact error message handy, but seeing a failure with "find" as the last attempted command in a make run (takes a while to reach the failure) triggered me to determine that "find" was the problem.
