      On RedHat 5, using input methods in NotePad demo and most other programs work well. However in GlobalSuite manual tests, cannot use input methods in IM related testcases. In order to reproduce, please follow steps described below.

      1. obtain following and unzip it. /net/sqe1.sfbay/quality2/i18n/workspaces/i18n_mustang_ws/i18n/bundles/b12/GS-Tonga_12.zip
      2. cd i18n_mustang_ws/i18n/bin
      3. sh runnit.sh -keywords:"ja&&imf&&manual"

      In all 4 test cases, CTRL + SPACE should switch to native IM but it will not happen.
