Reinstalling kernel JRE removes kernel JRE from the system

      Tested OS : windows
      Tested bundle : 6U4 PIT2
      kernel jre: http://j2se.east/plugin/1.6.0_04-nightly/2007-08-06.13_45/windows-i586/jre-6u4-windows-i586-p-iftw-k.exe

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Install kernel JRE build from the above location
      2. Invoke the Java Control Panel and make sure it comes up.
      3. Now, re-install the JRE
      4. Click yes for the message where it says that the software is already installed on the system.
      5. After a while, system reboot message comes up, and the JRE is removed from the machine. Confirm this by going to add/remove programs in the control panel.

      6. As mentined in Bug ID 6569528 - the following two folders - (lib/bundles, bin/kernel) are still there under jre installation directory
      7. Reinstall the kernel JRE once more.
      8. Invoke Java Control Planel. It does not come up. Instead, the follwing message comes up - "Could not find the main class. Program will exit."
      9. Under the JRE installation location, many files are missing.

The following screen-shots are attached -
      1. error message while invoking Java Control Panel
      2. contents of jre/bin after reinstall
      3. contents of jre/lib after reinstall

Ideally, reinstalling the JRE should be working, as the JRE was earlier practically removed from the system.
