Problem Description:

A pull-down applet menu doesn't work on Linux platform using 1.4.2 train. It is specific to Linux platform only (as it passes on Windows and Solaris Sparc in 1.4.2 train). The problem doesn't occur in 5.0/ 6 trains on all platforms.

Tested OS/ Browser Configuration:

- XP-pro (x86)/ Firefox 2.0.0.6
- Solaris 9 -Sparc- sun4v/ Firefox 2.0

- jre 1.4.2_15 GA
- jre 1.5.0 GA
- jre 6u3-b02

*** The failure only occurs on Linux using Firefox in 1.4.2 train. Everything else passes.

Steps to reproduce:
------------------
1) Install j2re-1.4.2_16-b01 into the test system (SuSE 10 or RHEL 5)
2) Configure Firefox 2.0.0.5+ with the above 1.4.2_16 plugin.
3) Using Firefox, browse <http://0-360.com>
4) An applet of virtual tours image should be loaded at the center.
5) A pull-down applet menu should be diplayed for viewer to select

But using 1.4.2 train on Linux/FF2.0.0.5+, the pull-down menu doesn't display at all.
(see attached <0-360-Linux-Screenshot.png>, the menu should appear on the right end of "Outdoors" item under the image). The problem is NOT reproducible with 1.5.0/ 6 trains.
