The issue is that applets fail only on Windows Vista. The failure mechanism is JRE 1.6 sets the maximum heap size to 64MB on Vista with Internet Explorer 7. This restriction does not happen on other versions of Windows. This is a critical issue as customers using Vista cannot use websites using these applets.
