Manual Update is not working.

1.) Install JRE_OLD_BUNDLE
2.) Configure HKLM\\SOFTWARE\\JavaSoft\\Java Update\\Policy\\UpdateServletURL to Java-Update Setup
3.) Perform Java-Update from Java-Control-Panel

After clicking the update button; Warning dialog is displayed "You already have latest Java ....". Please see the attachment.

I have used following bundles for the PIT testing
6u6 build: http://j2se.east/plugin/1.6.0_05-pit/2007-10-18.22_49/
6u6 build: http://j2se.east/plugin/1.6.0_05-pit/2007-10-22/
6u7 build: http://j2se.east/plugin/1.6.0_05-pit/2007-10-22.12_00/

UpdateServletURL reg key is pointging to this map.xml file

Try to update from 6u5 to 6u6 or 6u7 using IFTW bundle

1.) Install 6u5 (Normal installation)
2.) Install jre-6u6-windows-i586-p-iftw.exe

Update will fail during installaiton itself. Error screen shots are Attached. After clicking "OK" on 3rd screen, the update process tries to rollback. After clicling the finish button in "Instalation Failed" wizard, try to open an applet in IE, IE will crash.

The same behavior can be reproduced with normal bundle as well.
