install your kernel.
During the installation creat any error . eg Error 1722. (occured to me.. but not sure how/why)
clcik on OK. the installation quits & rollback happens.
you get the installation failed dialog box, where Open Java Help in IE check box is checked.
Clcik on finish.
A IE page with java help should open, BUt it does not.

note: The help page opens only when you uncheck & recheck the 'Open Java Help in IE' check box.
the bug here is for help page which doesnt open. if the installation fails due to other reasons also, the help page does not come up.
There is a seperate bug raised for error 1722 ( 6639561 )
