A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
When starting SwingSet2, I often can only see half of the SplashScreen, but most of the time it works correctly.
Sometimes the second, upper half is drawn after a few ms which results in a "flashy" apperance, but somtimes the upper half is not visible.

      I've created a screenshot: http://picasaweb.google.at/ceisserer/GTKTheme/photo#5146091354551310642

I was using jdk6's swingset2, but the problem is also visible with the swingset2.jar deployed with JDK7. It never happends with JDK6_u1.

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Simply start SwingSet2, if the bahaviour does not show up, try it again and again.
It may also be something like a race-condition, so try on faster and slower computers.

      EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
      EXPECTED -
The splash-screen should show up completly.
      ACTUAL -
Sometimes only the lower half of the splash-screen comes up.

      REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced occasionally.

      CUSTOMER SUBMITTED WORKAROUND :
      Use Java-6
