Windows XP
build - 6u10 b09 from
/net/koori/onestop/jdk/6u10/promoted/ea/b09/bundles/windows-i586
Description:
When jre is installed on a system with no Firefox installed, but with Mozilla present, "Mozilla family" is unchecked by default under Default Java for browsers.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Make sure the system under test has Mozilla browser installed
2) Make sure the system under test has no Firefox installed
3) Install 6u10 jre b09(tested build)
4) Open the Java Control Panel
5) Go to Advanced -> Default Java for Browsers
If "Mozilla family" is unchecked, the bug is reproduced
It should be checked by default as the applets do load with Mozilla browsers also.
Note - With Firefox installed, "Mozilla family" is always checked by default
