Even after the safeguards added to the new plug-in under 6618975, we are still seeing occasional crashes with the Firefox 3 browser with certain LiveConnect-related stress tests. Some of these crashes appear to be in calls initiated from the Java Plug-In (see the attached hs_err log), and some appear to be in the core browser, unrelated to the Java Plug-In (see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=410946, in particular the most recently attached test case). This bug tracks the remaining crash issues, which we believe to be problems in the browser which we can not work around.
