      Steps to reproduce.

      1. Install 1.4.2_16fcs. Make sure Auto Update is enabled.
      Refer to attached screenshot 142_16fcs_installed_with_AUenable.png

      2. Make sure Java Update Icon appears in the System Tray.
      Refer to attached screenshot 142_16jusched_plus_JUicon.png

You can see that jusched.exe process running in bash terminal & in task-mgr. Also Java Update Icon is in the system tray with "New Updates are ready to download".

      3. Install 1.4.2_17-rev-b11 j4b jre (auto update is turned off with this jre).
      Bundles are at /java/re/j2sdk/1.4.2_17/promoted/rev/b11/j4b/bundles.
Ensure that Auto Update is disabled.
Ensure that Java Update Icon does not appear in system tray and that jusched.exe is not running.
      Refer to attached screenshot 142_17_j4b_jusched_still__running.png.

You can see that "1.4.2_17-rev-b11" is installed and that Auto Update is disabled in the JCP.
There is no 1.4.2_17-rev-b11 jusched.exe process running.

However, previous 1.4.2_16 jusched.exe process is still active (bash terminal/task mgr). Also Java Update Icon is still in the system tray (this is from 1.4.2_16).

In this scenario the previous active jusched.exe process is not killed when installing 1.4.2_17-rev-b11 j4b jre. How does this impact customer?
