To better keep track of the known problem of some yahoo game applets don't exit cleanly, this CR is a spin off of CR# 6377626, CR# 6399750. For 6ux train, the RFE# 6399750 was implemented by re-architecting the applet lifecycle and LiveConnect.
For 5.0ux or earlier release, a workaround suggested to yahoo a couple of year ago. For some yahoo game applets (Graffiti, Dots, Bingo, Sheepshead, Pinochle), the problem is re-surfaced occasionally from time to time. This CR can be used for any further discussion references on the issue in 5.0ux or earlier jrefamily as CR# 6377626, CR# 6399750 were closed in 6ux with the new implementation.
The problem is that the embedded frame gives some errors while being destroyed and therefore the main frame (the main applet windows) is hung and doesn't get disposed cleanly.
Steps to reproduce:
------------------
XP, Win 2003
IE6/ IE7
- Play any of these Yahoo games: Graffiti, Dots, Bingo, Sheepshead, Pinochle
- click "Exit Here" or "Exit Games", the embedded frame is closed, but the main applet windows is getting hang.
Note: Not every Yahoo game applets display this problem.
