These files are template files, not java sources:

jdk/src/share/classes/sun/misc/Version-template.java
jdk/src/share/classes/sun/tools/jconsole/Version-template.java


Options:

  1. Use a different file suffix.
  2. Change to using a property file
  3. Generate the resulting file into the gensrc directory with the rest of the generated sources
