1. Extract 6u5.tar.Z to "/" and 6u10.tar.Z to "/install".
2. Install 6u5 package with the following command "pkgadd -d . SUNWj6rt SUNWj6cfg "
3. Now, at /usr/jdk/instance and /usr/jdk/ a jdk1.6.0 is created
4. Now, go to /install where the packages of 6u10 are located. Type the following: "pkgadd -d . SUNWj6rt SUNWj6cfg ".
5. Go to /usr/jdk/instance and /usr/jdk/, all jdk1.6.0 are overwritten by jdk1.6.0_10. And when "pkgrm SUNWj6rt SUNWj6cfg" is typed, every jdk1.6.0_10 will be removed. However, the 6u5 directories are expected to be there.
2. Install 6u5 package with the following command "pkgadd -d . SUNWj6rt SUNWj6cfg "
3. Now, at /usr/jdk/instance and /usr/jdk/ a jdk1.6.0 is created
4. Now, go to /install where the packages of 6u10 are located. Type the following: "pkgadd -d . SUNWj6rt SUNWj6cfg ".
5. Go to /usr/jdk/instance and /usr/jdk/, all jdk1.6.0 are overwritten by jdk1.6.0_10. And when "pkgrm SUNWj6rt SUNWj6cfg" is typed, every jdk1.6.0_10 will be removed. However, the 6u5 directories are expected to be there.
