A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
Would it be possible to build webkit libraries into java giving swing a fully-functional and up-to-date HTML component?

JUSTIFICATION :
Current HTML browser components are very limited.

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
Ability to drop an HTML component to provide basic HTML display capabilities beyond what the current swing editor pane provides. Ability to extend functionality within swing would be great, as developers could build HTML editing tools, or other development products on-top of that core functionality.
