JDK-2199312 | 7 | Chris Gruszka | P2 | Closed | Fixed | b64 |
jre version: 6u10 b27, b28 (32-bit online installer)
os: windows (tested on win vista sp1 and win 2000 sp4)
locale: de
steps to reproduce:
run online jre installer
check the final dialog
There are only first few words from the second paragraph. (See attached screenshot)
The attached de_Final_OO_Kernel.jpg shows that the German SetupCompleteSuccess dialog also has overlap problems with the OpenOffice and Kernel installed text when OpenOffice and Kernel installed.
In InstallShield, I thought it looked like the French and Italian JavaPowered text was truncated with sponsor transforms, but could not duplicate when I ran jre-6u10-fcs-bin-b329-windows-i586-p-05_aug_2008-s.exe /lang=1040
or
jre-6u10-fcs-bin-b329-windows-i586-p-05_aug_2008-s.exe /lang=1036.
False alarm. The other sponsor MSI's created during a build looked fine in InstallShield.
