The bug is filed on the basis of 6u10 beta Vista users won't be autoupdated to 6u10-GA (due to UAC limitation).

Using the current ready-to-test 6u10 limited auto-update staging, Windows Vista users who have 6u10-beta version installed still can get 6u10-GA via Java Update. A check should be in place to prevent these Vista users from auto-updating to 6u10-GA


Tested OS: x86-Windows Vista (sp1) [business,ultimate]
       build: 6u10-b29 (GA) from the Java update staging area


Steps to reproduce:
------------------
1) On Windows Vista, install the public beta build 6u10-b14
2) Setup the test machine with related java update information from the staging area:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\JavaSoft\Java Update\Policy
and set "UpdateServletUrl" with the value data "http://javadl-esd.sun.com/update/maptest/map-1.6.0.xml"
3) Invoke the 6u10-beta Java control panel from Start-->Settings-->Control Panel
4) Select "Update" tab
5) Click "Update Now" button

If 6u10-GA version is offered then the bug is reproducible.
