Customer is reporting JVM crashes with 1.4.2_18 on Windows 2003 EE server running on a multi-core CMT chip with Hyper-Threading enabled. The problem started out as an issue with slow performance and now systems are crashing. It's possible there is some memory leak situation here. Here is the configuration for this application:
* W2k3 SP1 Enterprise
* 8 GB RAM
* JVM - 4.1.2 18
* Web Logic - 8.1.5
* ematrix.dll running in JVM
* MatrixOne 10.6
The customer has been having trouble collecting hs_err logs and the one they were able to capture shows a problem with eMatrix.dll. Additional data from the crashes has been collected using ADPlus. Please see comments section of the report for a pointer to this data.
The options being used for the application are:
-server -Xss512k -Xms768m -Xmx768m -XX:NewSize=384m -XX:MaxNewSize=384m m-XX:SurvivorRatio=3
