This problem does not occur with 1.4, 1.5, or 1.6_07.
Operating System Configuration Information (be specific):
MS Vista Service Pack1, not on XP Service Pack3.
In Vista, Aero is enabled.
Hardware Configuration Information (be specific):
have the latest graphics adapter drivers installed for my
Mobile Intel 965 Express onboard chipset on a Lenove Thinkpad T61.
Bug Description:
where a dialog lacks the complete background and seems to be transparent.
Find attached two screenshots that show how it should be and the bug where
the screen background shines through.
Steps to Reproduce (be specific):
Just open a JDialog. From time to time the screen shines through
and the dialog content is not painted. If resize the dialog, you will get
the dialog background, if resize again, the whole content is painted.
Same problem with "-Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true" too.
