There is a confusion part in the test case description:
"If the background behind the JInternalFrame is red, then the JDesktopPane is transparent, and the test passes."
Should be changed to:
"If the background behind the JInternalFrame is red, the test passes" to make it simple?
"..., then the JDesktopPane is transparent" is misleading part.
