JWS 1.0.1_08 Remove Application URL needs to be updated.
On windows
1. Install 1.3.1_24-b04.
2. Install JWS 1.0.1_08-b02 using either javaws.exe or javaws-i.exe bundle.
Bundles location -> /java/re/javaws/1.0.1_08/promoted/fcs/b02/bundles
3. Run the 1.0.1_08-b02 JWS gui
4. Once the JWS gui launches click File -> Preferences -> Advanced
You can see that the URL is "http://java.sun.com/products/javawebstart/apps/remoteApps.html"
This is incorrect.
The new URL is "http://java.sun.com/javase/technologies/desktop/javawebstart/apps/remoteApps.html"
I filed similiar bug recently, see CR#6741376.
The remote application URL for JWS 1.0.1_08 needs to be updated. This is not a regression more so the website layout has been updated.
