2 java console boxes and 2 security warning dialog boxes appear when a FX applet is launched with 6u7.

For example, try this with 6u7 plugin:

2 security warning dialog boxes are asking exactly same thing:
"Requires an earlier version of java. do you want to continue? Yes/No"

It's annoying from the user's perspective as it interrupted the loading process and had to answer twice for the same thing. The possible resolutions could be,

Option #1: Don't show the 2nd dialog box and get the answer from the user response of the 1st dialog box.
Option #2: Don't show the security warning dialog box warning "I am using an old JRE(In fact, 6u7 is not that old) whenever an applet is loaded. Such warning could happen as scheduled but .... not every time an FX applet is launched.
