Specification for javax.swing.JTabbedPane.getBoundsAt(int) says:
"If the tab at this index is not currently visible in the UI, then returns null."
This statement may not seem clear to someone unexperienced in Swing framework - one may not understand how could the tab be made invisible in the UI (if at all).
