A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
According to http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6281477 javaws -wait will not work under Windows. If this is the case and Sun does not plan on fixing this then the documentation should be updated accordingly.
http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?messageID=10545325 shows that users are confused by the current situation.
Please put out a console-mode sibling for javaws (similar to java versus javaw) or document that -wait does not work under Windows. I would suggest you ask clients for concrete use-cases before deciding whether -wait should be dropped.
