A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Whenever I access sites that use Java3D or use JOGL, the following two problems can be observed.

1) Video appears to glitch every one second
2) The application in itself will refuse to load


STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
1) Go to www.runescape.com
2) Click the "Free Users - Click to Play" button
3) Let application load, then attempt to go to High Detail
4) Observe glitches with lower end High Detail

or

1) Go to https://j3d-webstart.dev.java.net/test/
2) Access any one of the demos
3) Observe glitches with applet every second

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
First option: Should be a smooth animation throughout, like there is on Windows.
Second option: Same as above.
ACTUAL -
What I saw were constant flickering and glitches with the plugin instead of a smooth transition.
