IBM was testing the NCP on T2 platform using the Java 1.6 and found that they can successfully run with 32-bit PKCS library located in /usr/lib/libpkcs11.so.1. But when they run with 64-bit JVM using the 64-bit library it core dumps and java process crashes. The core file and java log is located at:
ws07.sfbay.sun.com
/export/home/ibm-jdk-pkcs/files
This is very critical isssue for NCP support for all the IBM products and need to be resolved as soon as possible. I looked around the bugster and could not find any previous response also talked to JDK team and they suggested that it happens during load of the PKCS library.
We had discussion with IBM today and based on which they were supposed to share the test case and JDK on which this can be reproduced. Unfortuantely they ran into some internal issue and will be providing it tomorrow. We need to provide the details as soon as we will have the test case.
Recieved another core dump but its no different from the previous one. Truss output cannot be generated as test bing run from the test suite which starts JVM and diffrent stages with different arguments.
