Regression test suite for 5u17b11 win2008-x86, tests:

java/awt/TextField/4479001/Test4479001.java
java/plugin/javascript/4406607/Test4406607.java
java/plugin/javascript/4674761/Test4674761.java
java/plugin/javascript/5056894/Test5056894.java
java/plugin/JSObject/4476318/Test4476318.java

This tests for netscape browser (9.0.0.6), this is manual tests, all they are the same architecture, they ask to go to some web page on jpseuwt-ap.sfbay, and do smth with applets. All they hang up netscape browser.


Instruction for the first:

 -- Plugin- textfiled/textarea returns null when value is not keyed.
Fixed in JDK1.3.1_02",
Make sure that proper Java Plug-in is installed in the tested windows machine",
For Solaris and Linux machine, also make sure that NPX_PLUGIN_PATH",
  variable is pointed to tested 'javaplugin.so' file",
Instructions:",
1. Open Netscape 7 or up browser only (NOT ANY OTHER VERSION or IE)",
2. Load the following page ",
   http://jpseuwt-ap/testcases/131/4479001/Test4479001.html",
   Make sure that Java Console window comes up",
3. A page will be loaded into browser with some text field",
    (DO NOT TYPE ANY THING IN THIS TEXT FIELD)",
4. Click 'submit' button",
Check:",
If you see 'Value is : null' in Java Console window - test FAILED",
If you see 'Value is : ' in Java Console window - test PASSED",
Close Netscape browser",

Press 'pass' if it passed otherwise press 'fail'"



All tests hangs with picture like in attachment.


With jdk 5u16b12_j4b all tests hangs browser too.

With jdk 6 all tests passed.

On other browser (internet explorer) tests works good, did not hang.
