This is hard to reproduce.

I tried to do a clean installtion on one of the Windows XP (pro,SP2) machine.
While installation of JDK, I could see there is a error dialog popping up. On click of OK, the rolback operation started which took a long time (may be more than half an hour).

As I mentioned before, this is hard to reproduce.
I am unable to reproduce this issue again in the same machine and unfortunately, I lost the java_install.log file.

The serious issue I would like to highlight here, during that particular install operation, the rollback time was around 1 hour and there was no cancel buttom in that install window so the user had no option to escape from it.
