There were several build failures for 6u14p because the intergration of hotspot 15, b06, was not built with SS11 (the default solaris compiler for jdk6uX releases) prior to integration. Since hotspot 15 and all hotspot express releases are built in a JDK7 environment, such builds are usually done on SS12, which isn't available to jdk6 builds.
