Component: plugin
Java version:
java version "1.7.0-ea"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0-ea-b65)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 16.0-b06, mixed mode, sharing)
Platform: opensolaris(snv101b), opensolaris(snv111a)
Hardware: x86
Description:
when I linked new plugin named libnpjp2.so under firefox/plugins,
and clicked an applet, firefox hanged for some time then crashed with
the following info
"run-mozilla.sh: line 131: 2160 Segmentation Fault (core dumped)
"$prog" ${1+"$@"}
When I type "about:plugins" in firefox's address bar, I can see jre7
plugin, it is there.
Browser: firefox3
Notes:
1. Also I tried firefox 3.1b3, firefox3.5 on opensolaris(snv101b) and opensolaris200906(snv111a), these performs the same.
2. We didn't find the same crash problem on Redhat ES 5.2 x86 and win xp/vista.
we also attached core dump file. Please check.
