clearing the cache (using javaws -uninstall, or using the JCP) removed everything.
Instead, applications, applets, and extensions should be considered "installed" in some circumstances, and not so easily removed.
Creating any kind of shortcut should be one case where an application or applet and all the extensions it uses are "installed" javafx extensions, should automatically be considered installed.
