Description:
On Vista, during installation of online or offline installer, installation fails with the error 1330. XP systems do not seem to encounter this error. Windows 7 also appears to suffer from this error.

Errors seen:
"Java(TM) 6 Update 16 -- Error 1330.A file that is required cannot be installed because the cabinet file C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\jre1.6.0_16\Data1.cab has an invalid digital signature. This may indicate that the cabinet file is corrupt. Error 270 was returned by WinVerifyTrust."

Error 1330. A file that is required cannot be installed because the cabinet file C:........\Java\jre1.6.0_11\Data.cab has an invalid digital signature. This may indicate the file is corrupt.



Java versions:
  This has been seen on many versions of Java 6. It does not appear to be related to the version of Java, but the system it is being installed on.
  Version where this has been seen: 1.6.0_11, 1.6.0_13, 1.6.0_15, 1.6.0_16
