As per Stephen Fitch request, I am logging this new RFE for EULA functionality. JPMC requested this feature.
As per miroslow, this can be done, but we need to seek legal opinion as well.
It seems that a similar functionality was available in older JREs as the comments on old CR 4813829 suggests (-eula command line option). But pl. confirm.
Miroslaw is the engineer who had worked on the CR 6805578 and provided the fix for JPMC earlier. His email id is ###@###.###.

EULA stands for End User License Agreement. This what installer shows at the beginning.
User needs to check "I agree" or "I don't agree".
> the users cannot get these extra bubbles that a new version can be download or Eula at first use
If I understand the customer question right - they don't want to display EULA
and also want to have a switch to turn off Automatic Updates checking.
There is already a switch to disable updates checking JAVAUPDATE=0
Regarding EULA I can add a new switch EULA=0 but I don't know If we are allowed to disable (if it's legal to disable it).
Stephen,
Do you know who would be the best person to ask about the legal issue regarding EULA?
Thank you
Miroslaw.

Hi Paulo,
I'm pretty sure we delivered the first one via <<
6805578 RFE: disable java quick start jqs.exe at the JRE installation
http://monaco.sfbay/detail.jsf?cr=6805578/6u16-rev
>>
This is a JFB only fix.
I recall the EULA topic, but it's been lost for a few months now, is
there an RFE for this issue too - I would suggest logging on so that
it's on a more formal basis.
Once the RFE is logged, send me the details, and I'll make the checks.
I suspect Legal and others will not approve, but log the RFE and we
will go from there.
