I have a Nvidia GeForce GTS250 card which installed in WindowsXPpro sp3, and with latest driver 191.07.WHQL(released in 2009.10.05), when I launched Java2D demo with OpenGL option by using jdk 6 update, say 6u18 or 6u16, or jdk 6 fcs, teh rendering is so bad, you can see the demo at all, please see attached image.

But that card is fine running Java2D demo with d3d or other java2d pipe lines.

This most likely is a driver bug, but we need to have a record and do some investigation before we report it to Nvidia to fix it.

To reproduce the problem, install the GTS250 in Xp, and run the command as following:
bin/java -jar -Dsun.java2d.opengl=True demo/jfc/Java2D/*.jar

When the demo comes up, you can see the problem.
