My computer hangs if I will disable Java Quick Starter

      Java Version 6 Update 17 (build 1.6.0_17-b04)

      ADDITIONAL OS VERSION INFORMATION :
      Microsoft® Windows® Operativsystem Version 6.00.2900.5512 (Windows XP Service Pack 3)

      EXTRA RELEVANT SYSTEM CONFIGURATION :
      I using Internet Explorer 7 as my browser

      A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
      Every time I try to disable Java Quick Starter via the Java control panel
      my computer is hang and I must reboot my computer before I can work with my computer again.
      I am blind, so I use your Java Access Bridge to have access to the Java Control Panel (I use the latest version of Java Access Bridge).

      I have tried to select the advanced tab in the Java control panel, but I can
      not find the option to disable the Java Quick Starter because my computer hang when I activate the tab with the name advanced I have observed that some Java-applications is not working correctly with the latest version of
      Java Access bridge when I have activated Java Quick Starter.

      I will be very happy if you can tell me when you have tried to fix the problem.

      STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
      1. Install the screen reader JAWS for Windows (you can download the screen reader from
      http://www.freedomscientific.com.

      2. After that install the latest version of JAVA 6 from your web site.

      3. After you have installed the latest Java, install the latest version of your Java Access Bridge (you can download it from your own web site).

      4. After you have rebootet the computer, activate JAWS and go to Windows Control Panel, select Java and tried to disable the Java Quick Starter.

      Now should your computer hangs.
