Steps to reproduce:
install jre-6u18-windows-i586.exe
after clicking on finish on the Setup Complete dialog, wait for a few seconds

First a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error message is displayed (see attached screenshot jre_install_error.png)
after clicking on OK, another error message is displayed saying, that "Java update registration has stopped working" (see attached screenshot jre_install_error2.png)
