Attempting to run Fusion Middleware Apps with JDK 6_20 64-bit and these arguments:
-Xmx6g -Xms6g -XX:+UseCompressOops

During start of the server, the JVM consistently core dumps. hs_err file attached to bug; core file in ftp://javaperf.sfbay.sun.com/pub/cores/core/core.30212.gz

Error is
# Internal Error (nmethod.cpp:1836), pid=30212, tid=1126521152
# Error: guarantee(cont_offset != 0,"unhandled implicit exception in compiled
code")

I have no problem running this test without CompressedOops. I've also tried 6_21 builds without success.

It is the usual Fusion Middleware setup, meaning very difficult to setup and move to other systems. Please contact me for access to machine.
