Steps to reproduce:
Run test case CTE_REGTEST/Generic/4664403/Test4664403.java
1. Open a Dos prompt window and goto the following directory
C:\ws\reg\cte\work\scratch
2. Edit 'onestep.bat' file and modify the jdk and jre installation
location for the tested system
3. Run this .bat file
c:\...> onestep.bat
4. Open FieldTest_02.reg file and look the value of CLSID
(it's a hexadecimal number with { })
5. Edit JTextAreaTest02.html file and modify the CLSID value with one
got from step 4 (from FieldTest_02.reg file)
6. Run 'FieldTest_02.reg' file and click 'OK' on popup window
c:\....> FieldTest_02.reg
7. Open IE browser (not Netscape) and load the following file
C:\ws\reg\cte\work\scratch\JTextAreTest02.html
8. A page will be loaded into browser with a small text area 'text...'
9. Click on that small area, type some characters and also enter a new line
navigate with arrow keys, use 'Backspace' key to delete some character
10. Click on another Explorer or Dos prompt window or any other application
11. Click back on IE browser and click on 'text..' field
12. Try using 'Backspace' key to delete some character
Check:
If you are able to delete character with 'Backspace' key - test PASSED
If the browser exists from the test page - test FAILED
Actual behavior:
This test case lack of FieldTest_02.reg file.
