* A consumer complained rightfully that the use of the word "it's" is incorrect, Here is what the consumer wrote:
Spelling mistake on "About..." screen of Java 6 standard edition update 21: says "Oracle and/or it's affiliates". The word it's (with an apostrophe) is a contraction of "it is" and does not belong here. The correct spelling in this context is "its", the possessive pronoun meaning "of it", which does NOT have an apostrophe.
* In Windows control panel, select "Java", to run the "Java control panel".
In "Java control panel" on the "General" tab, click the [About] button to get the "About Java" screen.
See the attached screenshot - the error is on the line "Copyright (c) 2010. Oracle and/or it's affiliates."
