A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
After running update for the java client, the settings for "Place Java icon in system tray" and "Java Quick Starter" are now checked, even if they were not before. This was fixed by Sun prior to Oracle taking over.
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Click on "Update Now"

Respect my saved settings.
ACTUAL -
Saved settings overwritten.
REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.
Once its fixed in 8, we will consider backport to 7 and 6 if possible
