As reported by ###@###.###, the promoted 7b120 build for AWT repository may still experience an issue outlined in the CR 6989505. Specifically on a hardware of the following configuration:
Windows XP, Professinaol Version 2002 Service Pack 3. Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo CPU E8400 @3.00GHz
Video card info:
Intel(R) 4 Series Internal ChipSet
Installed driver: igxped32(6.14.10.5082)
Memory Size (1024 MB)
The test was run on the local console (not via RDP or VNC), and failed both with and w/o -Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true option.
This may either be an issue with the video drivers, or we should consider implementing a less-performant, but known to work everywhere solution (see the evaluation and the first suggested fix for 6989505).
