Here're only currency symbols in jdk/src/share/classes/sun/util/resources/CurrencyNames_pt_BR.properties

According to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/locales-137662.html and JDK 7 Supported Configurations, pt_BR is one of the UI translation locales JDK supports. Hence the currency display names should be translated into pt_BR.
