A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
After i installed jdk1.6.0_24 in my laptop, when i give the command javac , i get the error message "JAVA(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working"

REGRESSION. Last worked in version 6u24

After i installed jdk1.6.0_24 in my laptop, when i give the command javac , i get the error message "JAVA(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working"

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
I should be able to run java commands.
ACTUAL -
I get he error message "JAVA(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working"
