A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
In the "What's New in Java SE Documentation" section, there is a link labeled "File I/O (featuring NIO 2.0)" that links to the Java Tutorial. However, the link has a target to the "Reading, Writing, and Creating Files" (http://download.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/essential/io/file.html) section of the Java Tutorial rather than the "File I/O (Featuring NIO.2)" section located at http://download.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/essential/io/fileio.html. Note the difference is the page. It should be fileio.html rather than file.html.
EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
Target of: http://download.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/essential/io/fileio.html
ACTUAL -
incorrect target of: http://download.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/essential/io/file.html
URL OF FAULTY DOCUMENTATION :
http://download.java.net/jdk7/docs/
Incorrect link to JDK 7 content.
The fixes will affect the documentation only and not the bits.
Checked with the integrator for the build forest and the l10n team. They have indicated that this is ok.
