More information from submitter:
Had Java7 installed, but disabled java 7 jre from the Java app in
the Windows Control Panel. This made webstart run the app under
the older JRE. Running the app, and allowing Java 7 as an enabled JRE,
it did not work. But when the Java 7 JRE was enabled, the app failed
with secure connection.
Steps to reproduce:
java version "1.7.0_02-ea"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_02-ea-b05)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 22.0-b02, mixed mode, sharing)
https://199.122.28.162/JViewer/webstart.html
should give you the problem cate, but with the IP address
instead of the host name, webstart (rightly) complains.
1> Clean the Java cache by selecting “Settings…” on the General tab,
and then “Delete files…”
2> Launch app by selecting “Login to the OCIE Viewer” and
Go through the dialogs to start the app.
3> App will fail with Error creating secure connection
4> Exit
5> Launch app again.
6> This time, unless double dialog thing will happen.
JRE 7 enabled (Got Error created secure connection)
