With the latest released 6u29, and current-deployment 6u30, the DT plugin still checks for the installer signed by Sun only (not by Sun or Oracle).
The change was already in jdk 7, but not backporting to 6ux yet. Hence, latest 6ux DT plugin users sitll see the Security Warning message that "This Java installer did not come from Sun...." when upgrading to jre 7x via DT
*** Tested configurations:
- x86 XP, win7
- 6u29-fcs / promoted 6u30-b12
*** Steps to reproduce:
0) No jre on the system
1) Install jre 6u30-b12 (or 6u29 fcs)
2) Make sure 6u30 DT plugin is the latest DT version on the system
3) Use browser (e.g IE) to invoke to install the latest jre version via DT
7u1 should be the latest now and if you seethe Security Warning message that "This Java installer did not come from Sun...." (as attached screenshot), the issue is reproducible
