After install JRE 8 b20 32bit bundle (offline, online, online sponser), check IE options advanced tab, has below option item:
Use JRE %s for <applet> (requires restart)
See attached screenshot for detail.

This is not expected message, the %s should be replaced by real JRE version.

Another import issue with this release is that Java applet can not works in IE. A bug 7125767 already logged on that issue.
