      From http://java.net/jira/browse/MACOSX_PORT-217 --

Although TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.2, which is a JDK7 feature, is implemented purely in Java, the underlying cryptography may use PKCS11, which depends on the platform. This issue is to track the state of PKCS11 support in MacOSX port.
